All I'm gonna say is that somebody better call Hallmark or Baby Gap or someone...cause it's not everyday you come across a pic like this.

Pool Party Friday!

Today I had a fun pool party at my house. Mom, Dad, Mary, William, Jennifer and I were all there. We spent some time floating around in the pool and kicking. I absolutely LOVE to swim! I do have to be careful, though, not to get in the sun. Mom makes me wear a sunscreen AND a hat on my head because she says something about my bald head acting like a sun magnet or something. Anyway, after swimming we just lounged around a little. We were absolutely exhausted!

I love Lucy

Just wanted to show you the little lovefest that goes on with my dog Lucy. She loves to snuggle with me, but she is so stinky. Mom and Dad say that's just how wiener dogs are sometimes. Anyway, she is supersweet and sometimes when my mom feeds me in their bed, I will doze off and wake up to Lucy snuggled up next to me licking my feet. She is my good friend.

My Buddy William

OK- so first of all...this was taken 2 months ago (almost half my life ago) so NO baby acne comments please. This is my buddy William! He's sooooo funny. He's not quite as old as me- so I got my eye contact, balance, and head control before him- but now he's rolling over! How does he do it? Blows my mind. I've done it once or twice- but he's like a little rolly pill bug. Anyway- you can't really tell from this pic, but his hair is bangin'. He and I like to look at each other when we're in our swings or on the ground. We can't wait to start really hangin out and crawling around and stuff. That'll be super fun. My daddy says he's not to be trusted- but I don't really know what he's talking about. PS- my dad is so cute. He's the best. He always sings silly songs to me and (don't tell him) but I know he makes up the words.

My Nanny and Me!

So- since I just started this whole blogging thing...I figured it would only be proper to introduce to y'all my favorite Nanny in the whole wide world! Her name is Mary and she's the one that lets me have an hour a day of computer time to keep up with my blog (and shop on Ebay). She also gives me kisses, makes me do tummy time, feeds me, walks me, and reads to me. She's the best. She also watches over my very best friend (and roomate during the day) William. I'll introduce you to him in another entry. I have to be careful what I say to my dad about William because he says that William has the hair of a rockstar and that I'd better stay away from those types. But I digress- back to Mary- she's the coolest and she makes the time fly by!

Pater and me

Well as you all know I have three dogs: Pater, Willie and Lucy. Pater just turned 12 years old and the wieners are 8. When I first came home, they really were not sure if they were going to welcome me warmly or not. I guess they weren't sure if I was staying or just visiting. So now I think they know that I am a permanent fixture around here and we have really become good friends. Pater likes to lie around with me during the day and share my toys. We have established that Jacques the Peacock is mine!

My trip to La Grange

Oh what a fun Sunday I have had! I spent the day in La Grange visiting with my wonderful one-and-only great-grandparent Mimi Shank along with my Gigi and Popo Vogt, and Aunt Rachel, Uncle Chris and my cousins Dax and Avery. We all went to lunch and then we just had a fun time visiting. Can you believe that there are four generations of girls here? (oh and we let Dax be in the picture too!)
