Well- most of you all already know this...but my little Lucy girl got lost on April 8th. After 12 days of signs, yelling, flyers, and hoping- my daddy heard her barking from a few feet underground! Daddy turned into superman and with the help of Mary and William's daddy, John, they got her out after about an hour. She was dehydrated, lost 4 lbs (from 11 to 7), but was in fairly great shape. What a trooper- I love her so much and I can't wait to give her kisses everyday! The pics are of lucy and my mommy when they got back from the vet...daddy said if you look up 'pure joy' on wikipedia- it would have these pictures. Enjoy!

Let's do this swimming thing!
Happy Birthday Mommy!

You say it's your birthday....it's my birthday too...(well not really, but I will be happy to have some of your delicious birthday cake, Mom.) Thursday we celebrated the day my Mom was born 33 years ago. We started the day but having breakfast in bed together. Dad fixed me a pancake and a cup of milk while Mom and I watched cartoons in bed. Then I spent the day playing and that night I got to go to Hula Hut with Mom and Dad and a bunch of my friends were there to help my Mom celebrate. John and Jennifer were there with William. Brandy and James came with the twins in tow. And Mary and Katie Jan both came too. I spent the night eating and running around on the deck. And speaking of eating, Mom had some delicious chocolate cake for her birthday and I had a lot of it. I had flashbacks to my own birthday when they let me dig in to that yummy owl cake. Well, happy birthday Mommy...I love you!

Easter egg hunt and the Easter bunny!
This morning I got to go on my very first Easter Egg hunt with my friend Alice. When we got there, Alice was pretending to be the Easter bunny by wearing these ears on her head and it scared me half to death! No one could figure out why I was so upset when Alice was just trying to play, but finally they got it, and once she took the ears off we were ready to roll. We were all just waiting around to start the hunt, and you will never guess who showed up....the actual EASTER BUNNY! No joke, he was there. So once we got to start hunting, I found two eggs of my very own and kinda was able to put them in my basket. After the hunt was over, there was a band and kids everywhere; it was so much fun. There were kids dancing, and a lady blowing bubbles everywhere, and just all sorts of fun ruckus! We didn't get to stay too long, though, because it was unseasonably cold out there. It wasn't even 60 degrees! Either way, it was fun to spend time with Mom, Dad, Gigi (yeah she was there too!) and the Jefferies. I cannot wait for Easter tomorrow!!

Sunday with my cousins
Avery gives me good-bye kisses now!
Mac&Cheese and Carrot head
Tomfoolery with cousin Aves
My mom and Aunt Rachel with Avery and Dax
The bluebonnets are just so beautiful!
One of my very favorite Sunday activities is when we get to spend time with my cousins Avery and Dax. Today we drove to La Grange and hung out for a while at Blackjack (that's where Mom and Dad got married!) and we took pictures in the bluebonnets there. Next it was on to lunch and then hanging out at Mimi's house. Avery and I had lots of fun running around the backyard and playing with her dog Lottie and Dax and Avery's dog Opie. It was also fun to see Gigi, Popo, Uncle John, Aunt Rachel and Uncle Chris. Everyone was SO impressed with my new walking skills. Of course Dax can now stand up and Avery talks a lot, so we've all got our own little tricks...it's like a circus when we get together! When I got home, I heard Mom and Dad debating whether or not I needed to take a bedtime bath since I took one this morning, so just to ensure a little bathtime I rubbed my leftover macaroni and cheese and carrots in my hair. Aaaaah what a wonderful Sunday!

Morning Breath
Well, the other day my mommy told me that I had morning breath! Not sure what that is- but judging by the look on her face...it's not good. I decided to learn how to brush my teeth. Daddy thought it was hilarious and decided to grab the video camera like he's starting to always do....enjoy!
