So far, friends, I have had one Super Saturday. This morning Mom, Dad, and I started our day with breakfast at Jo's on 2nd Street and then walked down to the Dell Children's Museum where William and his parents were waiting for us! It was my first trip to the museum and it is pretty stinkin' cool. First William and I took turns driving the "bus", then we enjoyed a little story time and just general tomfoolery. There are tons of things to explore and play with, but I was most obsessed with the regular old slide and that is where I spent the majority of my time. After the museum we all had lunch together at Abel's on the Lake before we headed home for naptime. I heard talk about the pool this afternoon???

Cows!
Yesterday Mom picked me up from school with a special treat in mind. Since Dad is off playing golf all weekend with the guys, Mom and I took a road trip to Yoakum! Last night we had dinner at Mi Casa (Mom's favorite) but the best was yet to come. As you all know, I am a big fan of cows. This morning we got up and went with Uncle John to feed his cows. Oh man, did I impress everyone when we drove into the pasture and as the cows came running, I started laughing and saying, "Moo!" The only problem was that I really wanted to pet them like I pet my dogs. Only a couple would let me touch their noses until they found out that I wasn't holding any food and then they didn't want to be my friends anymore. Well that's no matter because when I got home, Max (my Gigi's dog) and I just had a ball rolling around on the floor together and playing. Happy weekend everyone!

Weekend with Gigi
Thursday and Friday my school was closed, so my Gigi came to town to keep me during the day while Mom and Dad went to work (Gigi is my mom's mom, remember?) Anyway, we had a ball! I can now say her name although I say it with a hard "G" instead of a soft "G" whatever that means. I am 18 months old, okay, so I don't understand phonics yet. Back to our visit: We did lots of coloring and playing outside and on Friday Gigi went with my mom and me to my 18 month doctor's appointment. I had to get two shots which was just awful, but I need to remember that shots = gelato! After the doctor, we went to Teo to get some yummy gelato. It's so good! Last night Mom, Dad, Gigi and I all went to Abel's on the Lake for dinner and I think I might finally be off of restaurant probation! I had the best time there. We sat out on the deck and it was loud and I had my own corn and everything! Today we took Gigi to Torchy's tacos for lunch and then we went to PetSmart and I got to pick out my very own fish! He is beautiful! So when we got home with full tummies and the new fish, Gigi and her dog Max had to hit the road back to Yoakum. I sure do miss her already! Love you Gigi! Come back soon!

Itsy Bitsy Spider
The itsy bitsy spider.....an oldie but a goodie. I love to sing this song with my mom. I even know some of the motions and just wait until we get to the end, then listen to me cheer!
Moooooooo.
To make my Popo Vogt and Uncle John proud, the first animal sound I have mastered is that of the bovine variety. Show me a picture of a cow and I will tell you what it says! Take a look at the video!

18 months old!
My how time flies! Friday, July 31st I celebrated my half birthday! I am officially one and a half! This half birthday is really a big milestone for me as there are lots of new things happening. At school, I got to move into the big kid classroom which means eating lunch at the table, napping on a mat, circle time, splash day, and just getting to make lots of new friends. My new favorite toys to play with are my wooden puzzles, (I know you aren't going to believe this, but I can put all 8 shapes in my shape puzzle where they go!), my new big girl table and chairs, my tea set complete with tea cakes, and my magnet board. My favorite letter is "B" and I get really excited when I learn a new "B" word like bird, bubble, ball, balloon, Bob Bob, and boy. I am not too wrapped up in learning words that Mom and Dad can understand, though. I will talk and talk and talk and talk and it mostly sounds like a mix of Chinese and German, they say. Maybe I am destined to be trilingual? Who knows! My new best friends in the world are my three dogs. I love to kiss them and pet them, but I really just love to chase them and squeal. They are good sports, M &D say, whatever that means. Well one and a half is lots of fun and I want to thank you all for being my friends and following my journey!
Time alone with Mama T and Daddy Bob (Bob Bob)
This weekend Mom and Dad took a trip alone to San Diego. I would have been really upset with them because I hear San Diego has the most amazing zoo in the world, but while they were gone, I got to spend time alone with Mama T and Daddy Bob. Now first, you should know that I have decided to call him Bob Bob and I say it all the time. Everybody seems fine with it, so Bob Bob it is. And although I don't call Mama T by her name yet, I sure do have fun when she is around. We spent the weekend playing hide and seek, reading, going to the playground and just hanging out. Mom flew back in yesterday, and we all picked her up at the airport together. (Dad has to stay there for a few more days to work. Bummer!) Anyway, although I was happy to see Mom, I sure was sad to see my Gparents go this morning when we had to take them back to the airport. I hear they are planning another trip to see me in October, so I need to really learn some new tricks so that I can impress them even more! Love you Mama T and Bob Bob!!
