Sunday FUNday!

Today Mom and I headed out of town on Hwy 71 in the opposite direction. We drove to La Grange because Mimi had surgery on Friday and we wanted to go check on her. She is doing fine and I am pretty sure she was happy to see me. Gigi was there too. And guess who else just happen to be in La Grange? Amy, Bailey and Benjamin! They were visiting Amy's grandmother who lives a block away from Mimi. So first we met them at the park and had some fun swinging and sliding. Then we headed back to Mimi's where I played around and then it started to rain. After the rain, Mom, Gigi and I went for a walk around the block and splashed around in the rain puddles. I got my clothes so wet that by the time we got back to Mimi's, I stripped down to my diaper and got serious about my splashing. I kept telling Gigi to kick more water until she and Mom were splashing me from head to toe. It was great fun. Now I'm pooped!

Happy 2nd Birthday Leah!

Since my Dad is off on a four day golf bender in Alabama with Alice's dad, Mom gets me all to herself this weekend. Today we took a girls' road trip to Mason to help Leah celebrate her 2nd birthday. You remember Leah? Her mommy is Shanda who is my Mom's friend from college. They were bridesmaids in each other's wedding and my mommy just loves her. So I am pretty sure I love Leah - it's in my genes. Anyway, the party was great. I got to play with all of Leah's toys and we went swimming and of course there was the cake. It was fantastic! Leah liked the cake so much she decided not to use a fork and basically dove in head first. Happy happy birthday Leah!

Mommy and me and our bellies

So Mom is 20 weeks pregnant which means she is exactly halfway through growing my baby brother. Here we are showing off our tummies tonight!

Happy 35th Birthday Daddy!

Today my Dad turned 35 years old. To celebrate we all went to the Wildlife Ranch in New Braunfels. The zebras eat right out of your hand there! I loved feeding them, but my favorite part was the petting zoo where I just loved petting and feeding all of the goats. Tonight Mom and Dad went out to dinner and I got to stay home with Katie (Love her!!) and I had a harmonica concert for her. She was highly impressed by my skills. Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Fun with Mommy's new computer

The other night we were goofing around with Mom's new computer and took these funny pictures.

Happy Birthday America!

My 4th of July weekend was full of fun. It all started with the Hidells coming to town on Friday, so I got to spend lots of time with my friend Berlin. We played lots of chase and jump-on-the-bed games together. Last night we both got to hold our very first sparklers. I wasn't a big fan. Then our dads took us down the street to an empty lot to watch the Barton Creek fireworks. This meant that I got to stay up until 10:30 which is way past my bedtime. I loved the fireworks, but even more than the fireworks, I couldn't get over how cool it was to be outside when it's dark. This morning after the Hidells headed back to Dallas, the three of us went to the Westlake 4th of July parade. Do you know that at parades, you just stand there and people give you free candy? It's awesome. There was even a firetruck at the end of the parade and firemen who let me pick whatever kind of candy I wanted out of their hats. After the parade, we made a quick trip to La Grange so that Dad and I could get our first look at the Blackjack house! They showed me which room is going to be mine and now I just can't wait to hang out there! After Blackjack, we headed back to Austin so I could nap. After the nap, it was pool party time, so we headed over to Wyatt's house to swim and eat hot dogs. I haven't seen that dude in a while so it was fun to see him. While I was there I loaded up on the sweets. I had one of Mom's yummy cupcakes and two cookies. Now I am absolutely exhausted and really need to hit the hay. Hope everyone had a fantastic 4th!
