Luke is 11 months old!

Exactly one month from now I will be ONE!  The year has flown by, but I am really enjoying still being a baby.  I am not ready to walk just yet, but I can crawl as fast as the wind!  And I love to eat.  So far the only two things I don't like are strawberries and green peppers.  Everything else gets shoveled in!  I say lots of "Mama" and "Dada" but not with much intention just yet.  My eyes are still so very blue and if they don't change, I will be the only Blue eyes in this house!  My favorite toys nowadays aren't toys at all.  I love the dog bowls, remotes, cell phones, this laptop!, and the water faucets on the bathtub.  I like to turn them and pretend I am driving.  Happy eleven months to this cute baby boy!!

Gig Em Aggies!

Headed to Kyle Field.  Gig em!

At the "Whoop Stop" on the way to College Station.  Mom says there was this neat thing called Bonfire at A&M when she and Daddy were there, but I may never see one and that's sad.

Hitching a ride into the game.

"We want the Aggies to have the ball, right?"

Watching the Aggie Band.

Hitching a ride from the game....

I took the loss pretty hard......

......but it was nothing that a snow cone and being carried by Mom couldn't fix.

And then we stopped for goodies from Berdoll's on our way home and a picture with the biggest squirrel I have ever seen!
Today I got Mom and Dad all to myself for a day in Aggieland to watch our Aggies play Missouri.  =  Gigi kept Luke since he is still too little to go to a football game, but I certainly didn't mind having all of their attention.  I loved the game, I loved the band, but most of all I loved the snacks.  Corn dogs and snow cones should be a dietary staple around here, I have decided.  The bad news is that the Aggies lost, but the good news is it was a good day.

Pumpkin Patch Posing

Here are photos from Luke's first trip to the pumpkin patch (on the outside, anyway.)  He was absolutely mesmerized by the pumpkins, so he just stared and smiled, but I just wanted to run and run and run.  Thank goodness Gigi was there, too, so she could chase me around and around as I pretended to be a duck and then a cat and then a dog. Needless to say, standing still and posing for a picture was NOT on my agenda.  I did indulge Mom and Dad by posing for a few photos, but it was Luke who was the most interested in just sitting in the pumpkins and smiling for the camera.

Monday morning outfit: photo shoot worthy

Here is the outfit I chose for myself this morning.  Disclaimer:  I DO have swimming class, so the bathing suit was necessity.  The tutu and boots....well those are just for style.  And something about the outfit really got me in the mood for a photo shoot, so Mom obliged and here are the breathtaking results.

Cupcakes, Rapunzel and my school friends: Happy Birthday Mara!

Luke loved the playscape too.

Magic tricks

Oh she's so pretty!

Lola and me.  Rapunzel told us to cover our eyes and you know we are good listeners.

Kitty cat face
Saturday we celebrated Mara's 4th birthday party at a park near her house.  And you'll never guess who showed up?  Rapunzel!  She told us stories, painted our faces (I chose to look like a cat.....and meow for the rest of the day), made us balloon animals, and did magic tricks.  She was amazing!  After that, we had cupcakes and played on the playground.  It was great and so much fun to hang out with my school friends at the park.  Happy Birthday Mara!

Bed head mermaid

Yesterday my Halloween costume came in the mail.  I really hate to ruin the suspense for you all, but I had to try it on, and then as we sat outside enjoying the cool morning, Mom pulled out the camera.  Now, you just have to try and guess what Luke will be for Halloween.....
