Last week, Daddy took a fun boys trip to Deer Valley, Utah to ski with five of his friends from high school and college.  While he was having fun in the snow, we were having our own fun back here having Mom all to ourselves!  Here are some of the pictures that we sent to Dad to let him know what we were up to and to make sure he was okay and not missing us too much:

Popo brought Kate chocolate covered donuts for breakfast on Sunday morning.  She did not leave his side for the rest of the morning.  He has found the way to her heart.

New Years Eve

We rang in the New Year in style this year. We all headed out to Nortex for lots of fun with our cousins.  We partied into the wee hours (okay so Mom let Luke stay up until 9 and I stayed up until 10), but we had a great time with fireworks and shenanigans.  Happy New Year!

Dad/Daughter Blackjack weekend

Between Christmas and New Years Dad and Kate spent a weekend with Hidell and Berlin at Blackjack while Mama had a little time solo with Luke.  Kate and Berlin went out for pizza and a movie in Schulenburg and jumped on the trampoline all weekend long.  Mom and Luke had a Saturday night date at Chili's and had a fun Saturday of going to the library and the park and just spending lots of time gazing into each others eyes....

Christmas 2012

Christmas 2012.  Twas a good one.  We spent Christmas Eve in Austin and went to our church with Gigi, Popo and Uncle John. Then it was home to open up one present before bed.  Christmas morning we woke up and opened all of the rest.  Our favorites this year were our cuddle-uppets, a toy truck and trailer for Luke,  a gymnastics mat for Kate, and a trampoline for Blackjack!!  After we opened presents we headed to Blackjack to try out the trampoline and to have lunch with Mimi.  After a few days at Blackjack, we settled back in at home in Austin.
