All the way from Connecticut

This weekend we had a wonderful visit from our friends, the Jeffers.  They were visiting from Connecticut so we spent lots of time doing fun "Austin-y" things with them.  We took them to Zilker Park, and then to take a picture in front of the "Greetings from Austin" building, then we went boot shopping at Allen Boots, had lunch at Guero's on South Congress and finally we did the duck tour.  Then we headed back to our house for some pool time with the Robbs.  Love those Jeffers!

On Saturday night before the Jeffers arrived Mom and I had a picnic in Zilker Park........

So here is how it all went down last Tuesday:

Mom and Dad were relaxing in their bed with Kate.
Mom: Hey, honey, did you put Luke to bed?
Dad: Yeah.  Like 5 minutes ago.
Mom: That's funny, because he is standing right here staring at me and doing a little victory dance.

Daddy put me back in my crib and I climbed right back out.  Twice.  And so, just like that, I am done with that crib!  Success!  Sunday Daddy and James put together my awesome new bunk bed and that night I spent in my big boy bed.  Kate has even joined in the fun and has been spending the night on my top bunk.

Kate actually reads "Pat the Bunny" to me.  

Story time before bed.  I have to sleep on the trundle right now for safety reasons, but I plan on graduating to the bottom bunk in a few weeks.

Fun weekend with friends

This weekend we had the Robbs and McEwans visit us at Blackjack.  Lillian brought me this AMAZING horse that we all had so much fun with. We spent lots of time on the trampoline and in the sand pile and taking lots of four wheeler and golf cart rides.  Then on Sunday we came back so that I could help Mary Kate celebrate her birthday at her unicorn birthday party.  It was amazing!  I rode a REAL unicorn.  What a weekend.
