Kate Townsend or Pablo Picasso.....you be the judge

Here are the latest archives of Kate's artwork.  I love how she brings home worksheets from school and when I turn them over I find the most fabulous pictorials.  Enjoy.

"Pater 16 is win he died."  "I have a mutt dog and he sheds but I still love him."

"I have a little wenre dog."

Our family playing outside.

"I will owes (always) love my Mommy T and Daddy Bob Bob.  But what ubawt (about) us?"

This is my personal favorite.  A family of unicorns in love.

Growing up

Luke and I are growing up so fast that Mom and Dad can hardly keep up.  The biggest development is that I am reading!   Mom and Dad went to their first parent-teacher conference last week and they said they couldn't be prouder.  Mrs. Thornhill called me a "race horse" because I have been learning so fast. I am also trying out some new fashion.  No more skirts.  Leggings, t-shirts and boots are my new look.    Luke is still my biggest fan.  He lets me read to him every day and says, "Wow!"  Little brothers are the best.
Trying out leggings and boots for school.  I like it.

Early dismissal last week meant afternoons at the golf range. ....

and rides in the jeep.

Luke trying on Matthew's Spiderman mask.
Early release day.  Happy to spend the afternoon with Mom.
Look at those straight arms!
Karaoke at Chick-fil-A.  I sang "Daylight" by Maroon 5.
When we got home we found this beautiful owl in the tree by our front door!
Luke tucks in Mickey and Minnie each night.

Working hard.

Blackjack weekend

Now that the weather has cooled off a bit, we were happy to spend a weekend back out at Blackjack doing all of the regular stuff.  Kate did get a new BB gun and is a pretty good shot!

Pierced ears!

Today was the day.  I have been asking to pierce my ears for a while now, but I was finally ready, so today after school we went to the mall and we did it!  I picked out some beautiful crystal flower earrings and when the girls pierced them, I didn't even cry!  Not a tear!  Afterward, we celebrated with a tiara, ice cream and Matt's El Rancho for dinner.

Reunited and it feels so good

Last Monday Julian's mom invited us over to their house for dinner and it was an amazing night.  I haven't seen Julian since the beginning of August and I have been missing him so much, so this little date night was just what I needed.  He told his mom, "Kate and I are going to marry."
