Easter 2014

Happy Easter!  We headed out to Blackjack on Friday morning and had a blessed weekend of beautiful weather and fun with our family.

The bluebonnets were beautiful this year!!

As soon as we got to Blackjack, I threw on my bathing suit and my cowboy boots and was ready to go.

Even the cows enjoyed the bluebonnets.

Easter morning:  lots of goodies in our Easter nests.  

Of course, the giant chocolate bunny was the best thing.

Saturday morning we headed out to The Jersey Barnyard for an Easter egg hunt with Bailey, Benjamin, and Emma Baird.

Kate took all the ladies on a golf cart ride to look at the wildflowers on Sunday afternoon  

while Luke relaxed after a long Easter weekend.

Springtime!

The chill is finally out of the air and here is what we have been doing to enjoy our beautiful Springtime in Austin.

Luke's naptime have become a time to play dress-up and sometimes he just gives up mid costume change.  I found him sleeping like this a few weeks ago.

Mom and Luke stayed at Blackjack on a Sunday night so that they could have some time together.......

While Dad was away for work for a few nights, we ALL got to sleep in Mom's bed with her.  Scarlett is the snuggliest one of all.
