Other fun

On the way to the bus stop

The only picture I managed to get from a fun Memorial Day weekend full of friends.  The Tilsons joined us at Blackjack and we had so much fun.

Kate's ballet recital

Pretty ballerina

A family shot

And the best part of the day--Mrs. Thornhill came to see them!

And she brought them flowers.

But her biggest fan was this guy.  He was riveted by the whole recital and clapped and smiled when he saw his sister on stage.
Saturday afternoon, this little ballerina performed at her ballet recital and did an amazing job.  My very favorite part of her dance was the confidence I saw on her face.  She totally believes in herself and for that I am so incredibly proud.

This week

We are getting ready for Summer around here.  This week:
Luke had his first X-ray!  After the beach he wouldn't put any weight on his foot and cried if you touched it, so we took him to the doctor where we found nothing wrong.   The next day he woke up all better!

We painted what Kate was calling "our masterpieces".

we snuggled with our dogs.

we celebrated our last day of ballet with Anna at Hat Creek.

we are counting down the school days!

And this has all made Scarlett and Willie so so sleepy.

This weekend we went to Galveston with the Dudleys, the Tilsons, the Keatings and a few other friends for a fun kick off to Summer!   We had lots of beach time, pool time and play time.  It was perfect.

Dallas for Dad's 20th high school reunion

At the end of April we headed to Dallas to stay with the Hidells and hang out while Mom, Dad, Will and Niven went to Dad's high school reunion.  We had a blast sleeping on a big pallet on the floor, taking golf cart rides and playing at the park downtown.  Love these friends.
