Happy Birthday Gigi and Avery

This weekend we took a girls trip - Gigi, Mom and me to Dallas so that we could celebrate Gigi's birthday and go to Avery's birthday party.  We had an awesome time.  We took Gigi to brunch at Cafe Brazil on her birthday on Saturday and then Saturday night was Avery's party.  We all boarded a karaoke bus which took us to Mellow Mushroom for pizza and then back on the bus and to the Marriott for a hotel slumber party.
Lots of animal print for brunch

We both had the "candy bar pancakes".  Yummmmm.

I picked out Gigi's birthday cake.  Chocolate.

After brunch, Mom and I headed back to the hotel for a soak in the hot tub.

Luke's first business trip

Last week, Luke took his first business trip with Dad.  They had meetings in Temple and Waco and then spent the night at a hotel in Waco.  When asked what his favorite part was, Luke gave a resounding "the hotel!!", but he claims the meetings were "kinda fun", too.
They had a little downtime so they headed to the Cameron Park Zoo.

First breakfast meeting in Georgetown.  Luke has on his game face.

Lunch meeting at On the Border.

UBS meetings.

Taking it easy after a hot tub soak.

Just funny.

Pizza and wings at the hotel.  Guys night.

Valentine's Day 2015

This year we celebrated Valentine's Day at Blackjack because it was on a Saturday.  We had a fondue party and of course everyone's favorite was the chocolate fondue.  Last week was spent making our Valentine's and celebrating with school parties.
Even Rocky got a Valentine from Kate.  A pretty little heart necklace.

Daddy/Daughter dance

Saturday night I had a date with Dad.  We went to Lost Creek Country Club for dinner and dancing at the Daddy/Daughter night.  It was a night to remember.  While we were there, what did Mom and Luke do?  Well when asked what he wanted to do, Luke said, "Snuggle."  So that's just what they did.
