Kate's first graduation

This morning was a momentous occasion in my life thus far.  I graduated from Town and Country Montessori.  Mom, Dad, Luke, Gigi, Popo, Uncle John, Brandy, Matthew and Lillian all came to celebrate.  Kindergarten, here I come!!

About 2 weeks before Lucy passed away, Libby came to live with us.  Her mom had just passed away and she needed a home, so we took her in.  Now, Mom says she is our little angel.  She needed a new Mama and we needed a new little girl doggie in our house.  Welcome, Libby!

On Tuesday, May 14, Lucy went to doggie heaven.  She was 13 years old and oh how we miss her (especially Mama).  Thanks for all of the wonderful memories, Lucy.  We will never forget you.

All the way from Connecticut

This weekend we had a wonderful visit from our friends, the Jeffers.  They were visiting from Connecticut so we spent lots of time doing fun "Austin-y" things with them.  We took them to Zilker Park, and then to take a picture in front of the "Greetings from Austin" building, then we went boot shopping at Allen Boots, had lunch at Guero's on South Congress and finally we did the duck tour.  Then we headed back to our house for some pool time with the Robbs.  Love those Jeffers!

On Saturday night before the Jeffers arrived Mom and I had a picnic in Zilker Park........
