Luke's dreams have come true.  He has joined his very first baseball team: the Astros.  He is playing with a few of his old buddies: Doc, Hank, John, and Luke Turner, and he has made a few new friends along the way.  His coach is Huston Street who is currently a pitcher for the Anaheim Angels so we told Luke he pretty much knows what he is talking about.  The Astros had a great season.  Luke is sure they won every single game and we are going with that.

Four years of First days

Back to school 2016!

It's time to go back to school.  And it's a big year for Luke.  KINDERGARTEN!!!!  He was so excited to go to Forest Trail and join his big sister.  First we had Muffin Morning where they met their teachers and boy did we all strike it rich this year!  Luke got Mrs. Purdy and Kate got Ms. Kerbow.  Mrs. Purdy is a huge Cubs fan and really values teaching emotional intelligence and kindness right along with teaching these kiddos how to read.  Ms. Kerbow is so fun and energetic and loves Kate's silliness just as much as Kate loves hers.  It's going to be a great year!

Cayman Islands.

Family vacations are the best thing.  And this year the kids got their passports and we headed to the Cayman Islands to do some snorkeling and relaxing.  It was a vacation for the books.  The pictures are not in order but you get the idea.
