So my second Christmas has come and gone, and this year, I was really starting to get how everything works. Christmas is an exciting time with all of the lights and the presents and night-time church. On Christmas Eve, we all went to church (Mom, Dad, Gigi, Popo, Uncle John and me) and then it was home to open up our Christmas pajamas and then I turned in while the grown-ups had a fun dinner. On Christmas morning I woke up, and when Dad and I got upstairs, there was a brand new play kitchen just waiting for me! Popo got it for me for Christmas and I just love it! I have been cooking up a storm since then! So after playing with the kitchen for a little while, it was time to open the rest of my Christmas gifts. My favorite gifts were definitely my kitchen, my Little People farm, Mr. Potato Head, my toy airplanes, and my remote control jeep. I had fun playing all day!

Spreading Christmas Cheer!
On Christmas Eve during the day, Mom, Dad, Gigi and I visited some of my best friends to deliver Christmas cookies and do a little visiting. We had so much fun making the cookies and even more fun delivering them. First we went to see the McEwans and William and I got a few hugs in. And William had a gingerbread house for me to put together. More on that later.....Then it was off to Katie Jan's. Not only did she love her "Katie" cookie, but she had my Christmas gift waiting for me! It was my very first Cabbage Patch Kid! Her name is Delores and she has long blonde hair. I love her! Then it was off to see Alice (whose name I say all the time!) She and I had some fun playing with her dolls for a little while. All in all, it was a really fun morning! Merry Christmas friends!

Christmas with the Vogts
So this weekend was my second chance to celebrate Christmas. We spent the weekend in La Grange with my Mom's side of the family. We were all at Mimi's house getting ready to open gifts. Uncle John then said that his gift for Avery, Dax and me was down at the River Bottom and asked if we wanted to go see it. So we drove down there and......THERE WAS FRISCO!! Frisco is our new little mule. She is half horse, half donkey and completely the sweetest thing ever! She made me giggle the instant I saw her. Now I am not even two yet, so I wasn't ready to ride her by myself, but I did go for a ride with my Mom and oh was that fun! Avery got to ride by herself, but y'all have to remember she has almost a whole year on me. Next Christmas Frisco and I will be running through the pastures and not looking back! When we got back home, we were all kinda playing around at Mimi's house when all of a sudden, you will NEVER guess who peeked his head in the back door! SANTA CLAUS! He came to Mimi's house to see us! He came in and talked to us for a little while. I didn't really get near him (as you all know, I don't fully trust the guy), but I just pointed and yelled SANTA CLAUS over and over. Avery talked to him a little bit about if she was a nice or naughty girl. She assured him she had been nice. Anyway, after about 10 minutes, he snuck back out the back door and I am assuming at that point he got in his sleigh and flew off. It was so exciting! So then we got to open the rest of our presents. I got a really neat tea set, and some cooking things for Christmas and some fun Wonder Pets toys and a puzzle....oh it was awesome! Thank you Vogts! What a wonderful holiday season!! I LOVE you Frisco!! Can't wait to see you soon!
Christmas with the Townsends
Last weekend I got to have my first of THREE Christmas celebrations with my family. Mama T, Bob Bob and Aunt Lynne came to town to help me celebrate. As you all know we all went to my Christmas program on Saturday night and then on Sunday we got to open presents under the tree. I got a really pretty Christmas ornament, a toy dog, a remote control car.....um I can't remember what else, but it sure was fun! Thanks Townsends! Merry Christmas!
