2009 International Holiday Program

Last night was the Annual International Holiday Program at my school. It was fun because we got a chance to celebrate Christmas and we also got to celebrate our heritage! I got to wear a German dirndl which is a fun little dress and we took German food for everyone to enjoy, so Mom made some yummy Spaetzle which is a German dumpling with cheese and onions. So before the fun meal, we had our music program. My class was the second to perform. We all sat in our own wrapped gift boxes and sang Jingle Bells. I mostly just stood in the box and looked around and took it all in. But it was so much fun! And the best part about it all was that I had a big cheering section: Not only were Mom and Dad there but all FOUR of my grandparents were there and so were Katie and Mollie! I felt so loved!!!!
