The big girl room

With the impending arrival of my little brother, I have decided that it is time that I get my own big girl room so that he can sleep in the baby room. Right now I am not sleeping in my big girl room because my baby bed is just too cozy, but I am reading my bedtime stories and saying my bedtime prayers in my big girl bed and then spending about 5 minutes pretending to sleep in the bed before I request the baby bed. I do really love my room. Mommy, Daddy, and Gigi worked really hard to make it a fun room for me. And when anyone comes over, the first thing I want to do is show them my "big girl room". I also thought I would include a picture of the same 3 books that I pick out to read every. single. night. I have a large part of these books memorized and so do my parents. They are really surprised that I am such a big fan of the big bad wolf in The Three Pigs, but I am rather obsessed with him. Mom finds him downright scary. Oh and on a side note, something that is kinda extra cool about my room is this: I will actually be the 5th generation to sleep in my pretty bed and use the vanity and dresser in my room. It belonged to my Mom, and before that Popo Vogt, and before that my mom's Mimi Vogt and before that Mimi's Aunt Vlasta! How crazy is that! It is over 100 years old!

I love your room Kate! It is darling! Don't worry one day you will want to sleep in that big bed!! Emery just loved Goldilocks and the three bears. We read them over and over again too!
