Slumber party with Gigi
Last night was Gigi's last night in town for my birthday celebration so she told my Mom and Dad to go out on a date so that we could have a slumber party with her. Here is a picture of us just before they left on their date. After we got rid of the parents, we played with Play-Doh, watched Mary Poppins and ate strawberries and cream and did lots of jumping on the couch! Thanks for a fun time Gigi! We love you!

Our week in photos
Last Sunday the McEwans came over and William tried to get a smooch. |
Luke took his first tub bath and loved the way it felt when he moved his arms and legs around under the water. |
This morning we walked to Starbucks and Luke and I stayed in our jammies! |
And I got a pink donut-my favorite! |

Tomorrow I turn 3 years old Where does the time go? Yesterday I celebrated with my friends at Hoppin' House. We had a great time bouncing around and eating cupcakes. The only time I was not completely jovial was at the end of everyone singing Happy Birthday to me. I got a little overwhelmed by all the eyes on me and pressure to perform well when blowing out the candle so Mom had to swoop in and blow the candles out for me again this year. Maybe next year I will blow them out on my own. Anyway, after the party when I got home I got to open presents from my friends and I got all kinds of great stuff including my very first Barbie from Gigi! Thank you friends and family for helping me to celebrate turning 3!

The Dentist
Monday I took my first trip to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned and checked. I really did great and even told Mom when we left, "I sure do like getting my teeth cleaned. That was nice."

Picnic time! |
This weekend we took a road trip to Dallas (Luke's very first road trip as a matter of fact) to visit with Chris, Rachel, Avery and Dax and also to meet William Hidell and help celebrate Berlin's 3rd birthday! Friday night we stopped by the Hidells to meet Luke's new buddy William and man is he cute! Then we drove to the Waldens' where we played like crazy until bedtime. Saturday was Berlin's birthday and we celebrated with a party at Pump it Up in Plano. That was awesome. And you know what was even better than the bounce houses? The cake we ate afterwards! Happy birthday Berlin! Saturday night Dad and Uncle Chris took Avery, Dax, and me to Dave and Busters to play some games while Mom and Aunt Rachel stayed home with Luke. Today we drove back home and everybody is so tired after such a fun weekend.
