Summertime at Camp Gigi!

My tomato harvest.  (That's not my wine.)

This is the biggest playscape I have ever seen.  And it is in Yoakum City Park.

This dress is my Gigi's from when she was a flower girl in her aunt's wedding when she was 4!
Last week Dad was gone for three days for work, so we headed to Yoakum to have some fun at Camp Gigi.  We had so much fun painting, having a picnic at the park, riding our bikes (okay only I did that!), Slip N Sliding (we BOTH did that!), picking tomatoes and playing hide and seek in the garden, playing dress up, and playing with all of my Mom's old toys.  Thanks for all of the fun Gigi and Uncle John!

Happy Father's Day, Dad!

Last Sunday was Father's Day and we really wanted Dad to have a special day so that he knows how much we love him.  We started his day off by bringing him breakfast in bed and then we showed him the handprint stepping stone that we made for him.  He sure did seem to love it.  The rest of the day we spent together playing in the pool and watching golf.  We sure are lucky you are our Dad.  We love you!

San Antonio fun

Somehow this was the only picture taken at Sea World.  Luke would rather be in bed.

Dinner time at the farm- kids' table!
Dad has been working in San Antonio since Wednesday, so on Thursday we drove down there to spend the night with the Swaneys and then on Friday morning we woke up and all went to Sea World.  It was my second trip and I was just as enamored with Shamu.  There is a new Sesame Street water park for kids and Bailey, Benjamin and I ran around like crazy!  After Sea World, we drove out to the farm in New Braunfels where we spent the evening swimming and playing with B, B, and Teagan.  I just love my family!

So much to smile about!

I have to report on three milestones I have recently reached: First, I now have my SECOND tooth poking through my bottom gum.  Soon I will look like a little snaggle-tooth monster.  Second, I am sitting up on my own.  And third - and this is the big one- I have slept from 7pm to 6:30am for three nights in a row!  Mom and Dad seem more excited about this one than I am, but I do feel quite rested which is nice.

Lovin' some Mary and Big Luke

My slide from Gigi now serves as a perfect pool slide!

How good looking are they??  And look at my dress!  This was my flower girl dress from Luke and Mary's wedding almost 2 years ago!
This weekend Mary and Big Luke (as I like to call him), came to Austin for a wedding and they stayed with us so we got in LOTS of great play time.  We had a pool party with the McEwans and the Robbs, built train tracks, got Amy's ice cream and just had a general great weekend.  They just left to head back to Houston and I am so bummed already!  Love you Mary and Luke.  Come back soon!!

First pedicure

The other day Mom gave me my very first at-home pedicure.  I got to soak my feet before she clipped and buffed my nails.  I picked out a beautiful pale pink shade for my toes and requested she paint hot pink flowers on my big toes.  Look at those cute little chubby feetsies!!

Six month check-up

Today I saw Dr. Ramirez for my six month check up.  I weighed in at 15 lbs. 10 oz. and 25 inches and was in the 25% for both.  I am just a little guy.  Wait, is that why my Mommy is always calling me her "little man"?  Other than my yucky allergies (we think it must be molds), I am doing just great!  I heard Dr. Ramirez telling my mom that I should be sleeping through the night (I sleep from about 7 pm to 4 or 5 am right now) and that it is okay to help me "stretch out my crying".  What!  I am not on board with that at all!  And after my two vaccinations (Ouchy!) I was ready to get out of there.  Three months until my next well check - Thank goodness!

My first dance recital

Waiting to go on

Luke and Mom can't wait for my dance!

And here we go!

The grand finale!
This afternoon after the birthday party I had my dancing debut.  We had a dance "recital" at a nursing home and it was so much fun.  We had a really big audience and I didn't get nervous at all!  Mom, Dad, Gigi and Luke all watched and cheered for me.  They kept telling me that they were so proud of me.  I really did remember most of my dance and I smiled and twirled and was sure to take a bow at the end when everyone clapped.  Brava!

B, B, and T's Birthday Party at the Farm!

Birthday girls and me

Bailey LOVES Baby Luke!

Luke's first time in the saddle.  Maybe next time the saddle can be on a horse.

Hanging with Gigi

Their birthday cakes were soooooo cute (and yummy!)

With Dotty and Big Unc

Benjamin took that cupcake down.

Bailey took a cupcake break to smile for the camera.

Today we celebrated three of my cousins' birthdays.  Benjamin and Bailey turned 3 and Teagan turned 4.  They had a fabulous petting zoo and pool party out at their farm and oh was it fun!  I loved the animals and swimming with Dad, but I also just loved seeing my family.  Happy Birthday you three!  Lots of love!

Dinnertime in the Bumbo

Well I am finally big enough to eat in my Bumbo.  Here I am enjoying some carrots.  Kate does not care for the attention I am getting from both of our parents, apparently.....

Happy 15th Birthday, Pater!

Today we celebrate Pater turning 15. That is 105 in dog years.  Even though he is getting older, he stays just as sweet.  We love you, Pater man!
