We really love the new fence.  It was completed last week and I have already learned how to crawl over it.  Luke also tries really hard to do so.

We just returned from a wonderful Spring Break at Blackjack.  We spent lots of time with all four of our grandparents, Uncle John,  and then the McEwans came out for our last night there.  We had so much fun playing outside for almost the entire week!  Kate's favorite things were chasing butterflies barefoot in the pasture and picking wildflowers while Luke wanted to go on four wheeler rides to check cows several times a day.  We all came back with a little sun on our faces and peace in our hearts.  Happy Spring!

A trip to the playground ended with Luke's first face ouchie: a big old scrape from getting so excited while he was running with a little soccer ball that he fell face first into the dirt.

And then Kate walked a whole mile loop.  Barefoot.  On the "balance beam".

Today was just one of those Spring days that you can't help but spend the whole thing outside.  After a picnic, a trip to the playground, playing in the sandbox, a long walk around the neighborhood, and a leisurely dinner on the back deck, we have definitely caught some serious Spring Fever.
