The day after school was out, we embarked on our very first family road trip to Branson, Missouri. We took Gigi, Popo, Uncle John and JP with us for 5 days of camping, Silver Dollar City and so much fun. In the car we watched movies, did art and crossword puzzles, and sang songs. When we got there, we unpacked and moved into our cabin at the Wilderness campground. We spent 3 days at Silver Dollar City (we loved it!) and lots of time at the campground swimming and playing outside. Kate's favorite thing about the trip was the candy store at SDC and Luke's favorite thing was the train ride there. They are already so ready to go back. Mom used to loved camping in Missouri in the Ozark Mountains and going to Silver Dollar City when she was little like us too. And did you know our Mama T grew up in Missouri? Dad used to spend a lot of time here too as a little guy. We love the "Show me state". It's just beautiful here.
