Kicking off summer 2017

We kicked off summer with our annual trip to Branson.  This year it was Mom, Gigi, Uncle John and us.  Dad had to stay behind and work.  We sure did miss him, but here is the fun we had!

"Legends" in Branson.  Luke fell in love with Elvis that night.  Michael Jackson is still his number 1 but Elvis is a close 2nd.

Miss Kate's moved to a new location in SDC but we found it!

S'Mores.  Uncle John knows how to get that fire just right.

He is growing up.  He tells me he struggles with whether he should be "cute" or "cool", but he still reaches for my hand when we are walking together.  Holding on to that feeling forever.

Souvenirs so representative of these two: a fidget spinner for Luke and a walking dog puppet for Kate

Kate overcame her fears this year and finally got up the nerve to ride Fire in the Hole on our last day.  She then proceeded to ride it 13 times in a row.  Luke rode it once and declared he would never ride it again.

Luke would NOT agree to this photo op.
