Hooray for summer!!

This weekend we rang in the summer of 2013 with a bang.  Here's what we did:

We both stayed up past our bedtimes so that we could hunt for fireflies.  We caught 2!

Mom, Gigi and I took a girls' only shopping trip to Charming Charlie where I put together a few summer looks.....

I call this one "a little lady about town."

We took our first trip to the Lost Creek CC pool.

I swam

and swam....

and swam.

This was as far as Luke would go.

So he and Mom spent a lot of time watching from the side of the pool.

This fine poodle came from Charming Charlie.

And so did this hat.

We did a little reading...

And we hiked down at Lost Creek

where we sat on a rock,

and found a teeny tiny turtle.

Luke and Dad hit up Starbucks.

Mom took us to Amy's Ice Cream.

This morning was a momentous occasion in my life thus far.  I graduated from Town and Country Montessori.  Mom, Dad, Luke, Gigi, Popo, Uncle John, Brandy, Matthew and Lillian all came to celebrate.  Kindergarten, here I come!!

Libby: our sweet new angel dog

About 2 weeks before Lucy passed away, Libby came to live with us.  Her mom had just passed away and she needed a home, so we took her in.  Now, Mom says she is our little angel.  She needed a new Mama and we needed a new little girl doggie in our house.  Welcome, Libby!

On Tuesday, May 14, Lucy went to doggie heaven.  She was 13 years old and oh how we miss her (especially Mama).  Thanks for all of the wonderful memories, Lucy.  We will never forget you.
